His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, extends his sincere congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, the Ministry of Interior’s staff, leaders individuals, and the Egyptian people on the occasion of the Police Day and the anniversary of 25th January Revolution.
In this context, Al-Azhar al-Sharif underlines that it fully appreciates the leading role played by policemen in protecting the homeland and citizens. In addition, Al-Azhar expresses its heartfelt thanks to and pride in the Egyptian, valiant youth and police martyrs who made great, heroic sacrifices so that Egypt enjoys safety, security, stability and peace. At the end, the Grand Imam supplicated Allah, the Almighty, to shower martyrs with his mercy and forgiveness and to protect Egypt and its people from all calamities.
