Tomorrow, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Heads to Bahrain to Participate in “Bahrain Forum for Dialogue: East and West for Human Coexistence”

     His Eminence, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and chairman of Muslim Council of Elders, Prof. Ahmed al-Tayeb heads tomorrow, Thursday, to the kingdom of Bahrain to take part in “Bahrain Forum for Dialogue: East and West for Human Coexistence.” 
The Forum is set to be held under the patronage and with the presence of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and will be attended by His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of Muslims Council of Elders, Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, His Holiness Pope Francis, Head of the Catholic Church, about 200 prominent religious leaders in addition to a large a group of intellectuals and media figures. 
During its sessions, the Forum is scheduled to discuss a number of issues that promote peace and peaceful coexistence, most importantly, the importance of interfaith dialogue, promoting world coexistence, human fraternity, peaceful coexistence, and the role of religious leaders in facing contemporary challenges such as climate change and world food crisis. 
The final day for the Forum will include three key speeches given by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Eminence, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and chairman of Muslim Council of Elders, Prof. Ahmad Al-Tayeb, and His Holiness Pope Francis, Head of the Catholic Church.
