Over 200 Rohingya refugees reach Indonesia on 2 Boats

Several English speaking news outlets reported recently that two boats carrying 230 Rohingya refugees, including women and children, have landed on the shores of Indonesia's Aceh province.
“111 Rohingya, including 27 women and 18 children, had arrived just before dawn on Tuesday November 15th morning”, said Hamdani, a spokesperson for the North Aceh government.‎ A second boat carrying 119 Rohingya landed in the province on Wednesday morning after being at sea for more than 10 days, he told Reuters.
Local authorities were in contact with the Indonesian immigration and foreign ministers and the United Nations' High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), he said.
On its part, Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism (AOCE) stresses once again that the international community and all concerned human rights organizations are responsible for the Rohingya, the most persecuted community in the world, who have been driven out of their homelands by Burmese security forces in 2017.
