Al-Azhar Observatory received an American diplomatic delegation to learn about the Observatory’s mechanism of work in the field of combating extremism and terrorism and how it responds to extremist ideas promoted by terrorist organizations.
After the meeting, the delegation expressed their appreciation of the efforts made by Al-Azhar and its Sheikh, the Grand Imam Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, through its bodies, including the Al-Azhar Observatory, to confront hate speech and extremist ideas that fuel violence and terrorism in the world.
