Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism continues its efforts to educate university students about ways to avoid extremist ideologies and the best way to use the Internet and social media. In this regard, the Observatory organized an introductory meeting on its key publications and the mechanism of its work in its 13 units in Arabic and foreign languages for students of the Faculty of Home Economics in Tanta. The meeting reviewed some of the top issues that the Observatory monitors, including combating extremism, monitoring activities of terrorist organizations, as well as following up the conditions of Muslims around the world, and providing the necessary recommendations to deal with these issues.
