His Eminence the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmad at-Tayeb offers his sincere congratulations to the Egyptian President, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces; Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian Armed Forces, and the Egyptian people on the anniversary of Sinai Liberation Day.
Al-Azhar al-Sharif stresses that this anniversary is a precious memory for all Egyptians as it recounts a historic epic of honor, pride, and determination not to cede any part of our beloved country. Al-Azhar also confirmed that Egyptians will never forget the heroic sacrifices made by our valiant soldiers for the sake of protecting our homeland.
On this auspicious occasion, Al-Azhar calls upon all Egyptian youth to be inspired by this heroic spirit and to do their utmost for building a bright future and renaissance; praying to Allah, the Almighty, to provide Egypt with safety, security, stability, and prosperity and to protect her from all adversities.
