His Eminence, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Prof. Ahmad al-Tayeb, expresses his sincere congratulations to the president of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, valiant armed forces, and the Egyptian people on the occasion of 71st anniversary of July 23rd revolution.
Al-Azhar stresses that July Revolution will be remembered as a watershed moment in the history of our beloved country, as it played a very crucial role in eliminating differences among classes, supporting poor and desperate classes of Egyptians, setting a good example for achieving full equality among people.
On this auspicious occasion, Al-Azhar Al-Sharif calls upon Egyptians to continue working hard and showing persistence and sincerity in order to develop and achieve prosperity to our beloved Egypt, praying to Allah, the Almighty, to protect our dear homeland from calamities, and to spread security and stability across its land.
