Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism (AOCE) received CEPOL Executive Director, Montserrat Marín López, and her accompanying delegation. The official visit aimed at getting acquainted with AOCE efforts in combating extremist groups’ ideologies and monitoring their activities around the world. AOCE supervisors briefed the guests on the mechanism of work followed by AOCE 13 units, highlighting key findings and recommendations regarding various issues such as refugees, hate speech, and effects of violence.
Moreover, the delegation was briefed on AOCE latest initiatives directed towards youth and children. The initiatives included a summer course entitled "Know More!", "Knocking Doors", "Listen and Talk", etc.
