The student government of University of California-Davis (UC Davis) has recently passed a legislation that embraces the movement of boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS).
This bill explicitly prohibits the purchase of products from corporations identified as profiting from the genocide and occupation of the Palestinian people, as determined by the BDS National Committee.
This move has sparked concerns and deliberations among supporters of the Zionist entity, as the act of boycotting has now become a point of intense debate in campuses. However, such a step reflects increased tendency against the Zionist entity. Actually, some websites stated that it as an “uptick in anti-Israel activity on college campuses.”
On its part, Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism (AOCE) hails this decision as a stride towards revealing the truth of the Zionist entity and its barbaric actions, and a legitimate pressure on the companies supporting it. The AOCE also commends the dissemination of global awareness of the reality of the Zionist entity, and that the companies supporting it are involved in violations against millions of innocent Palestinians who have been, and still are being, killed, wounded, and besieged for long decades.
