AOCE Celebrates Ramadan Victory

On the 10th of Ramadan 1393 A.H. (Oct. 6, 1973), Egyptian valiant soldiers managed to write a new chapter in the history of our beloved country and the entire region. Despite observing the obligatory fasting of Ramadan, the decision to restore the land and raise the Egyptian flag high on every inch of our beloved country was the ultimate goal before the country’s leaders and soldiers, as they sacrificed their noble lives for achieving noble aim.
The strategic goal was to shatter the myth that the Zionist army is invincible. Within six hours only, our proud brave souls destroyed the Bar-Lev Line, the strongest defensive line in modern history which the Western military ruled out the possibility of destroying it except by an atomic bomb! This resulted in the enemy’s losing its balance, which was revealed by audio recordings of then Zionist Prime Minister Golda Meir, who “collapsed” out of shock.
The 10th of Ramadan was not only a battle that proved the gallantry and courage of the Egyptian Armed Forces, it also demonstrated the true Egyptian will to preserve the soil of this country, no matter what it may cost. Long ago, we have proven the ever-lasting fact: every occupation shall die out!
