The tenth relief convoy launched by the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House –Al-Azhar’s philanthropic arm–crossed Rafah Border Crossing and prepares to deliver the humanitarian and relief aid to the people of Gaza.
Launched in accordance with the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar’s directives, the convoy consists of 11 ambulances, and 305 giant trucks carrying 4200 tons of humanitarian and relief aid including food, baby milk, well-equipped tents, water, medical supplies, blankets, comforters, mattresses, and winter clothing.
The convoy is considered the biggest one dispatched by the Egyptian Zakat and Charity House to Gaza since the start of the war. International envoys from more than eighty five countries around the world participated in preparing the convoy in appreciation of Al-Azhar and its honorable stance towards the Palestinian people.
