- In 1995, he obtained his MA degree in Comparative Islamic Jurisprudence, with an Excellent grade, from the Faculty of Sharīˁah and Law, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. The topic of the Master’s thesis was “Editing and Study of the chapter on Marriage from the manuscript of Tahdhību l-Aḥkām (Summarizing the Islamic rules) by Imam Al-Baghawī’, Shafiˁī Islamic Jurisprudence”.
