The River Nile is the lifeline of Egypt, which has always been an advocate of peace and stability for all. Therefore, protecting the Egyptians’ right to obtain Egypt’s share of the Nile water is an indisputable duty. It goes without saying that no one can confiscate Ethiopia’s right to develop and benefit from the Nile. It is also well established that no one can confiscate the historical right of the Egyptian people to the Nile water. Thus, the Arab and African communities, together with the international community, have to support Egypt to find a suitable peaceful solution that guarantees Egypt's full water rights in this crucial issue, so that the River Nile may remain, as it has always been, a lifeline of goodness and peace.
