AOCE receives Nasser Higher Military Academy Delegation

Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism (AOCE) received 150 scholars from different countries as part of the international fellowship provided by the Nasser Higher Military Academy (NHMA). During the visit, the delegates were familiarized with AOCE's efforts; including monitoring written, visual, or audio productions issued by extremist groups, analyzing their ideologies, and highlighting their repercussions on youth and societies.
In this regard, the delegates reviewed the activities and the latest productions: including videos, studies, books, and social media campaigns, as well as the most prominent issues focused on by AOCE researchers, including Islamophobia, refugees, and hate speech, as well as the dangers of technology at the security and social levels.
It is worth mentioning that the Al-Azhar-NHMA collaboration aims to spread awareness among youth on the dangers of extremism and the mechanism of local and international recruiting tactics, particularly in this era of digital revolution.
