The Grand Sheikh of Al- Azhar, Dr. Ahmed At tayyeb, met with Dr. Ismail Serag eldin, The director of Alexandria Library.
They discussed together ways of expanding common cooperation between Al-Azhar and the Library.
Dr. Serag confirmed, the great role of Al – Azhar in facing radical and extremist ideology along his history.
He added, we seek to develop the Alexandria library electronically, through different means to ensure its easy accesses to a large number of young people.
The Grand Imam of Al – Azhar, stressed, we communicates with The youth in mosques, clubs and youth centers in order not to fall an easy victim to militant terrorist groups.
His eminence added, Al-Azhar has a national role in correcting misconceptions through convoys to all Egyptian governorates.
