Al-Azhar Observatory organized the first educational camp for foreign students in the city of El-Tur, South Sinai. The camp saw the participation of students from 28 nationalities. During the camp, a number of lectures were given, including: "Extremist Ideology: Features and Policies," "The Importance of Upholding the Values of Humanity, Coexistence and Acceptance of the Other for a Society Free of Discrimination and Hatred and a World Where Peace and Harmony Prevail," and "The concept of Extremism and the Difference between Extremists and Terrorists from a Psychological Perspective."
