On the anniversary of Palestinian Martyr’s Day, 7th of January, Al-Azhar calls upon the honorable people of the world to jointly confront the crimes of the Zionist entity and stop blood-shedding and terrorism in Gaza. Al-Azhar prays for all Palestinian martyrs and offers its condolences to journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh on the martyrdom of his son.
This anniversary of the Palestinian Martyr’s Day coincides with the bloody Zionist aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip, which is entering its fourth month. This comes amid a shameful global silence that encouraged the killing of more than 22,000 martyrs, more than 9,000 of them are children and 6,000 are women, in addition to hundreds of doctors, medical personnel, ambulance crews, journalists, and international employees. Moreover, thousands of people are still under the rubble.
Al-Azhar is astonished that all these genocidal crimes are taking place with no one to stop them, as if all that is happening in Gaza is not enough to make the human conscience cry out and enforce an immediate cessation of this terrorist aggression. This is clear evidence that this Zionist entity is devoid of all religious, human, and moral values .
Therefore, Al-Azhar renews its call to all honorable people in the world to unite and confront the crimes of the Zionist entity and to exert their utmost to put an end to the chaos of murder and terrorism in Gaza. Al-Azhar also extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Palestinian people, the brave journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh, and the press community in every country, especially those committed to reporting the truth on the land of Palestine, on the martyrdom of journalist Hamza al-Dahdouh and journalist Mustafa Thuraya, who were targeted in a cowardly terrorist attack. Al-Azhar prays to the Almighty Allah to bless them and all the martyrs of proud Palestine as well as the martyrs of the Arab and Muslim nation and shower them with His vast mercy and forgiveness. Al-Azhar also supplicates the Almighty Allah to grant the wounded of our people in Palestine speedy recovery and to protect them from the evils of their and our enemy.
