The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar congratulates President al-Sisi and the Egyptian people on the Anniversary of Police Day and the 25th January Revolution

     The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar prof. Ahmed Al-Tayyeb extends his heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency President Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Ministry of Interior, and all the Egyptian People on the occasion of the Police Day and the 25th January revolution. This year marks the 73rd anniversary of the profound sacrifices rendered by the police heroes who drew a historical epic in the defense of our lands and regaining its freedom against the occupation in the city of Ismailia. Therefore, the Al-Azhar expresses its sincere appreciation and pride to those heroes for their invaluable sacrifices.
In addition, Al-Azhar reminds the nation that the 25th of January revolution, that witnessed the sacrifices of souls and bloods of our youth, heralded a transformative chapter in the history of Egyptian strife and efforts towards the advancement of Egypt. Al-Azhar also prays to Allah to give our lands all means of prosperity and stability, to have mercy on our martyrs, protect the country against each and every evil, and to give it an enduring state of  security, safety, prosperity and peace.
