During her participation in a symposium entitled “Towards Patriotic Strategy for Combating the Western Cultural Invasion”, organized by Al-Azhar in the International Cairo Book Fair 2025, Dr. Reham Salamah, the executive director of AOCE, illustrated that tackling the Western invasion is one of the most crucial issues to prevent any potential repercussions, particularly the mental invasion. Moreover, she hinted the validity of non-ethical content leads to the deterioration of ethics and values. Thus, Al-Azhar Observatory for Combating Extremism (AOCE) launched several initiatives such as “Listen& Talk” and “Know More” to present a precise counter-narrative. It focuses on spreading intellectual awareness among students at different educational levels consistent with our genuine features of civilization and beliefs.
