Grand Imam Congratulates President Sisi and Islamic Nation on Prophet’s Birthday

His Eminence, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Prof. Ahmed Al-Tayeb extends his heartfelt congratulations to the Egyptian president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the birthday of the Prophet of Mercy, the Messenger of Humanity, Muhammad (PBUH); praying to Allah, the Almighty, to bless the Muslim nation and the entire humanity with goodness, safety, security and prosperity.
The Grand Imam stressed that while celebrating the birthday of the Master of all Prophets, we are at the same time celebrating the divine revelation that illuminated humanity; promoted peace, mercy and justice among people; and brought mankind out of darknesses into the light. His Eminence emphasized that the contemporary world is in urgent need of the Prophet’s guidance more than ever before as the world conscience has failed to establish peace, put an end to wars and conflicts, and restrain the brutal aggression against the innocent in Palestine and other hotbeds of conflict around the world.
